Mar 17, 2016 5:32 PM in response to MiaTurner45by Meg St._Clair,What do you mean "what happens"? If you don't get a delivery indicator, it means the message wasn't delivered. Just remember, you will only get those indicators for iMessages (blue) not SMS (green). There may be times when messages to iPhones go as SMS messages.

If you type multiple messages - you may get one "delivered" for all of them
Also - as Meg St._Clair pointed out, sometimes it takes wee bit of time for the messages to be delivered and in some instances when iMessage fails - it switches to text if that option is enabled in settings
