Mar 18, 2016 6:23 AM in response to je1000dkby Lexiepex,Why not connecting the disk to your computer? it is much faster than using the disk over WiFi.
For the connection to Airport the disk must be in the HFS+ format (Mac OS Extended (journaled) as I said above).

Mar 18, 2016 9:15 AM in response to je1000dkby Tesserax,When connected to an AirPort Extreme or Time Capsule, the base station's file server supports both AFS & SMB for file transfers to the attached USB drive.
However, if by NFS, you are referring to Network File System, the AirPort base stations do not include either an NFS server or an NFS client.
