Q: a previously purchased song wont play
I purchased a song over a year ago and now it has an exclamation mark by the song and won't play - its been played 22 times so it was previously there.

The exclamation mark means that the song is no longer on your computer where iTunes is expecting to find it. If you click on it do you get a message about not being able to find it and would you like to locate it? Have you deleted, renamed or move your music on that computer?
If you can't find the song on that computer then copy it back from your backup of your downloads/library to where iTunes is looking for it. Or since it is an iTunes purchase, and if it is still in the store you should be able to redownload it.
