Mar 18, 2016 9:31 AM in response to mrieger52by Limnos,Typically when connecting an iPod to a iTunes library with which it has never previously been connected you will get a message asking if you want to erase the iPod and sync it with that library. This is to prevent doing things such as transferring music from a friend's computer to an iPod then transferring it to yours. I would think if you do not want things to change on that iPod you do not press the sync button.

Mar 18, 2016 10:27 AM in response to Limnosby mrieger52,So, if I press the sync button.. the music on my iPod may erase but will it be on my computer then? Or will it just disappear. And will I ever be able to put music back on that iPod ever again since it was linked to anothers iTunes library? Thanks.. I just don't get this stuff.

If you set up the iPod to Sync Music with your iTunes library, the iPod's existing content is erased and replace with content from your current iTunes library.
