Q: Apple Music Issue?

y daughter signed up for Apple Music for family.

I am able to get into the Apple Music with my iCloud account but i cannot save not music to any playlist.  it tells me to go to the setting and turn on ICloud Music Library.

Once I turn on the ICloud and choose Merge I get the following message "ICloud Music Library can't be turned on because this device is already associated with another Apple ID.  This device can be associated with a different Apple ID in 16 days"

To clarify I have an Apple ID and a iCloud ID.  I don't know why they classify my iCloud ID as an Apple ID.

I have purchased an Samsung Note and down loaded the Apple Music App and signed in with my iCloud ID and i don't have any problems.

Why should i have to wait 30 days before i can use my iCloud on my Iphone for the Apple Music?

I'm very disappointed

I've had this issue before and looked into it and it seems as if you cannot have two apple ID's being used with iTunes. So I know I had to wait like 90 days before I could use a different apple ID. Not sure why but this link might be helpful.

Hi airricka3,  thank you for your answer.

I understand, but i had to buy an android phone to use the Apple Music App, to include i have to wait 30 days for apple to change over to my ICloud account to use my Iphone.

I started out  with the iPhone 4 and have been loyal all the way up to the Iphone six plus.  I started with and Apple ID,  in which I had Mobile Me then Mobile me went away and iCloud came about so I made my Mobile Me email address my iCloud account.  There was nothing is the rules that state my iCloud ID has the be my apple ID.  As a matter of fact it was explained you can have a separate iCloud ID.

Now I'm caught between the Android and the Iphone now.

So is it fair to say the i have to have one Apple ID to control iTunes as well as iCloud.
