Q: Mac starts with pink vertical stripes then goes to grey screen and freezes

MMac suddenly went to blank screen when attempted to restart had pink vertical stripes and then went to blank screen and froze

Apple Hardware Test doesn't catch everything, so even if it doesn't find a problem, you could have one.
