I am using a template from MotionVFX. I see a Generator in there called a Separator, but it seems to do nothing at all. I'm sure it would not be there if it did not have a purpose...but I have no idea what that is.

When I open Motion, just a regular project (not a MotionVFX template or anything), I can definitely find a "Separator" Generator. It is under Generators, and in the "Utilities" folder.
My Motion 5 doesn't have a Generators>Utilities folder.
I don't have anything from MotionVFX installed.
There is no Separator generator that comes packaged with Motion 5. I will assume that is something MotionVFX created themselves, for some internal purpose. You'd have to ask them what it is.
Nope, I don't have any "Utilities" folder at all, no "Separator" generator at all.. That's from a third party, not part of the default Motion package.
What does the "separator" Generator do in Apple Motion?
