Q: How to connect mac book to iMac

Hello

I have a mac book pro with thunderbolt and also I have an iMac 27" 5k. I connected them with thunderbolt cable and pressed the command + f2 but nothing happened.

I want to use my iMac as the monitor for mac book.

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Unfortunately the 5k iMac does not support target display mode:
