Identical Looking Cards in Wallet for Apple Pay

I have two different cards with the same financial institution (different accounts).

When I register these cards in the Wallet for Apple Pay, both cards are registered in Apple Pay with an identical image. The only distinguishing factor is the last 4 digits shown on each card.

Is there a better way for me to distinguish which card I'm using when both look identical (Can I add clarifying text, different picture, etc.)?

Thanks

Thanks Johathan UK

I will set one as my default.

I also submitted feedback to Apple. 🙂

In your second response, it appears that in addition to Apple, the card issuer also has a roll in determining what cards looks like in my Wallet for Apple Pay.

Could you clarify what role the card issuer plays (both are debit cards in my case) in determining what a card looks like in my Wallet for Apple Pay?

Thanks again. 🙂
