QT Pro Saving & Coversion Issues

Hi!

Just installed QT-Pro and it won't save to certain locations (network connected drive), when saving (exporting) to C drive a blank file is created that runs the correct length of time but contains zero video??? I can't convert any video then to mov format... help...
