I would like to know if any of you ever tried to connect an USB modem using an USB to RJ-45 adapter to Airport Extreme or Time Capsule Router? I would like to have the 4g internet connected directly to the modem where no cable internet or ADSL is presented.

Since that adapter requires a driver which must run on the computer to convert ethernet to USB, I doubt that it is going to be possible to do that.
The Ethernet ports on the AirPort routers will not support a USB modem. Knowing that, I tried it anyway a few months ago after a user in another discussion kept insisting that it should work......although he admitted that he had not tried it himself since he did not have a USB modem on hand.
So, I tried it. It did not work.
But, you won't know if it might work for you until you try it out yourself. It won't hurt to try.
