Q: Controlling Backlit Keyboard on/off

Can I set the macbook 12 2015's backlit keyboard to come on at startup rather than after I login?  I am disabled and work in bed a lot and it would be easier to login with the backlit keyboard already on.

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2011), iOS 9.2.1
