Q: MacBook pro shuts by itself saying it detected a problem

MacBook Pro (mid 2012) shuts itself off without warning saying it detected a problem and doesn't even give an error code. It says press any key to continue and it restarts the laptop. Has anybody come across this before? If so, any remedies? Thank you.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

I have bad news, and i have bad news.

The first bad news is that you have not managed to get rid of all of kaspersy, there are still two extensions showing as loaded in your panic report:

com.kaspersky.nke 1.6.2a12

com.kaspersky.kext.klif 3.0.2a39

the second bad news is that it looks like you have a graphics card problem. But the graphics card in your Mac is not separately replaceable.

But -- it is possible that this program could apply to you. Make a genius bar appointment, and they will run the VST test (takes 12 minutes if it passes)

I can't find those 2 Kaspersky files. I'll have to take the laptop to Apple.
