I just noticed the infamous, "Service Battery" warning on my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. I assume that this means that I need to replace the battery asap. Apple branded batteries run around $130. I'd like to consider a third-party battery, but I want something that is of good quality. What do you recommend?

I don't think they make one. I need a 78W. This is only 67W.
So, buy it from OWC.
Yes, I do like the OWC branded products, so even though it's about $30 more than a generic it's probably a lot better quality. Thanks for the link.
