Q: What is the way to migrate calendar manually on server 10

I am migrating from Server 2.2.5, OS X 10.8.5    to    Server 5.0.15 for OS X 10.11.3.

I followed the migration guidelines, by moving the server to a new box using the Time Machine backup. As the Mail, Calendar and Contact data are on an external hard drive, I used rsync to create a copy. ( With the calendar and contacts server turned off).

When I migrated Server all servers when well, but the certificates, and Calendar and Contact server. I got Calendar to run (serveradmin status calendar ), but when I do

sudo /Applications/Server.app/contents/ServerRoot/usr/sbin/calendarserver_diagnose

It show that there are no events.

Does somebody have an idea how to migrate this data manually? I can do a mysql dump, load it on the new server. But how do I run the migration scripts for Calendar and contacts? I suspect that the table structure is different.

Alternatively (in desperation): if I have the users export their calendars (Calendar app Export > Export Calendar), and they import these on the migrated server, would their meeting invitees get hundreds of notifications for past meetings?

Please advice

I just upgraded to Server 5.0.15 and OS X 10.11.3.  The same thing happened to me – all calendars and events were missing when I launched Calendar.app on the server (although delegated clients on the network could still see and edit them).

It seemed to have been a problem with the default location assumed by Calendar.app – I rebooted the server then launched Calendar.app and it asked permission to use my location. I granted this and my calendars and events all appeared.

Thanks for trying to help, but no, the data is simply not there.
