Final Cut Pro cannot save changes to the library.

Can any on help me with this?

Final Cut Pro cannot save changes to the library. The hard disk where your library is located may be full or unavailable or permissions may have changed. To avoid losing your work, quit Final Cut Pro. Quit!

Hi Russ,

In my case, I have the location of the library on an external hard drive connected via Firewire 800. I've had this set up for months and NEVER had a problem, until now.

I'm on a:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

Processor: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Startup disk: Macintosh HD

Running FCPX 10.2.3
