Mar 20, 2016 12:32 PM in response to adham2000by Searchingforapple,Its so bad. I have a similar behavior.
All my offline music was "not offline anymore".
Now i am still loading again about 25 GB of Music....... (iPhone 6s plus; iOS 9.2.1; plus iTunes Match Abo)
Its very, very disappointing!
Time by time there is another accident with Apple Music!
This Problem happened to me too: Apple Music on iOS 9.2 "Media Format Not Supported"
.... i hope some day this App will be easy to use .... and stable enough so i can just use the Service instead of wasting my time.
:-(

Mar 21, 2016 10:00 AM in response to itunes999by Searchingforapple,Hello itunes999.
Thanks for your help.
After downloading a lot of songs i still got 27 GB now offline.
I hope this issue NEVER comes back again
If so, i either go back to spotify or have a look at your hints.
But:Why all my loosed offline music should be there again, after a simple log off and log on?
I am very, very afraid to turn icloud music library off - i expect loosing all my offline songs with this step.
This step would never be one of my soloution-approaches.
Can you tell my why i should do these steps and whats about it?
Regards,

Mar 23, 2016 7:03 AM in response to adham2000by iPruch,EDIT: This solution fixed my problem instantly: If you don't see your content after you update iTunes - Apple Support.

Same here. And the music hasn't disappeared: It's still on /Users/username/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music, but iTunes isn't recognizing it... A quick work around would be to re-import all these folders inside the iTunes Music folder, but I fear that this may reset some metadata like times played, score and all that. If no one finds a solution, I'll make a backup of the whole Music/iTunes folder and try to re-import everything and see if metadata is still there.
Also, I found this: If you don't see your content after you update iTunes - Apple Support. I haven't tried that either. I hope one of the two end up working...

May 23, 2016 5:14 AM in response to adham2000by Magnus Lewan,Same thing happened to me, but I had not even signed out or in. The music and videos were there at least yesterday, and now it is all gone from my Mac and my iPhone. My iPad still (knock on wood) has the offline data.
For the Mac, If you don't see your content after you update iTunes - Apple Support solved the problem. For the iPhone - no luck.
I just have to download all the gigabytes of data again, I guess, thereby throttling the local internet and Apple's servers.

May 23, 2016 7:09 AM in response to adham2000by fishing point,Updated to 9.3.2 and I lost all 9GB of offline playlists and individual artist compilations. What a crock. I too have experienced the duplicate debacle. I have looked back through previous community posts and both of these issues have been around since inception. Apple appears to have no solution or does not deem it important enough to provide a fix. I have been reliably advised by Apple Support that it 'only' happens when the op system upgrade includes an update to iTunes!!! Yes folks, you can expect a repeat of the pain and frustration sometime in the not too distant future. The solution is simple really, unhitch Apple Music from iTunes. Problem solved. Fat chance though, Apple wants us tied to the purchasing store which is all that iTunes is after all. Therefore no incentive to fix the problem.

May 30, 2016 7:24 AM in response to Nhsq82by Nhsq82,Dear All,
I spoke to an Apple support member and after trying several options for about 45 minutes, they admitted that they had received many complaints about this and that the HQ "were aware of the problem since April and are working on a solution".
I was asked to try one more thing which was to restore my phone from my Mac back up. I tried that but still all the Music was in the cloud and not offline.
However what worked was the following for me. Since all my Music was on the Mac, i switched off iCloud Music Library on my phone and then synced it with the Music library on my Mac. This transferred my 3100 songs back to my phone and is available offline. I kept the iCloud Music Library off!

Jun 20, 2016 12:08 PM in response to adham2000by Kaplann,This problem is really widespread and it's ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed. I will be leaving Apple Music when it happens again.
For now I found something that semi-fixed the problem for me. On my phone, I turned off iCloud Music Library. Then I synced it with my computer, which brought my playlists back, but without all the Apple Music songs (apparently you cant sync apple music songs from your computer to your phone). On my Macbook, when I started adding Apple music songs back to the playlists, my phone magically re-added all of the apple music songs to my playlists.
The problems with this are: 1. The Apple Music songs that appeared were not appearing offline, so I have to manually click download on hundreds of songs again. 2. When I added Apple Music songs to playlists on the Macbook, it tried to update my macbook's playlists to the phone's playlists, which actually tried to DELETE THE APPLE MUSIC SONGS FROM MY COMPUTER TOO. Luckily I had duplicates of the playlists, and I suggest anyone who tries this does the same.
I'm glad to have most of my songs back, but this problem is seriously ridiculous. This is a big problem that peoples' music is disappearing and Apple can't provide a reliable way to get it back. Very disappointing.
