We have tried everything! My mother can't remember her security questions and it keeps asking for the password of the last email she used. This is NOT a preowned device. It's always been hers. But since the latest iOS 9 update, she can't do anything

we have tried changing her email to the first one, changing the security questions, and even adding a rescue email. It won't let her do anything with her iPad without those questions. She knows who her childhood friend is, but she has lived all her jobs. She doesn't have a least favorite. We have tried none, McDonald's, maid, clerk, even mother, wife, babysitter, YOU NAME IT!! This is the worst system I have ever seen!!! again, this has always been her iPad. We made the mistake of updating the iOS. It's apple's psychotic scheme of getting people to update their devices, and SHE WILL NEVER BUYING ANOTHER APPLE PRODUCT AGAIN. Has anyone had this problem? Her iPad is second generation. Thanks.

by the way, I'm posting on behalf of my mother, and her iPad isn't listed with my devices.

Yeah right!! I tried doing that on my account and instead of letting me reset mine, it said "We don't have sufficient information to reset your security questions." What a crock! I have my username, password, DOB, name, etc. on my account yet supposedly Apple doesn't have sufficient information??? What the heck? What other information could Apple possibly need? The time I was born and my weight and length??? This is ridiculous! I have tried answering my current questions "too many times" so I'm locked out of that and all Apples replies in this "support" do is give links to Apple Support which is where I get the illustrious "We don't have sufficient information to reset your security questions" statement. Maybe Apple should think about revamping their security questions to be things like "your mother's maiden name" or "the city where you were born." Not things like "your favorite sports team" (something that can change over the years) or "what is your dream job" (this changes for most people as they age or have life changes). Even banks use those types of questions so they must be secure. Really! I must say, I am HIGHLY disappointed!

Those questions need not be answered correctly. You just have to remember the answers you gave.

Example:

Q: What is you favourite car?

A: Dodo

BTW: This is a user to user technical forum, Apple is not here.

You need to call Apple support:

when you up date to the new OS there is a place to insert a password. I left this blank and when it rebooted it keep asking for a password. I tried leaving it blank to no advale. Lost all my files, apps and music. Apple could not help.

I Had book a service session . And wait till I was called then theye took another 45:00 min to ask me if i had an appiontment. I left there frustrated and angry with no answers.

i have just upgraded to iOS 10.01. Now I have to type my wifi network in every time I us it. Here we go again, good luck on your issues.
