Q: How to download imported music to laptop.

I have already imported and copied music from another account using home sharing. I am now trying to download this music to my laptop. I am trying to download the music to my laptop so I can put the music on my phone using cloud. If the music isn't downloaded to my laptop, it doesn't connect to my phone. I have a tablet as my laptop, and it doesn't do anything when I plug my phone in. Using cloud is the only way I can get music from my computer to my phone. So how do I download imported/copied music?

iPhone 5, iOS 9.2.1, Windows Tablet

    Could you please be more specific as to which platform have you downloaded your songs to and where do you wanna use it before transferring it to your phone?

    I have copied it to my laptop from a different itunes account, but it isn't downloaded on my laptop. It seems to just be a copy. I have my phone connected to automatically receive downloaded music from my laptop account. However, any music I import from a different itunes account to my itunes account using home sharing doesn't automatically show up on my phone. Does that help?
