Mar 21, 2016 4:02 PM in response to BeRayby OGELTHORPE,As I alluded to before, make that appointment at the genius bar and bring the hardware with you. I cannot see a software solution based on what you have posted.

Apr 22, 2016 2:45 AM in response to BeRayby kcfromsan francisco,MBA = Mid-2011 Yosemite, iMac = Mid-2011 El Capitan.
After upgrading to El Capitan for iMac, I manage to perform TDM without any issue.
Leaving both MBA and iMac over night, went into sleep mode.
The next day, it doesn't allow me to perform TDM.
So I upgraded El Capitan on my MBA.
Unfortunately its still can't TDM
Can't be the cable when it was able to do so the day before.
Thank you
