how do i delete a message i sent to the wrong person
I sent an iMessage to the wrong person, how do I delete it?

Hi,
At your end the File Menu and the keystrokes listed.
Or you can highlight a specific iMessages in a Conversation and then use the backspace/delete key.
However as has been stated that will not stop it being delivered to the person it was sent to.
That can also be almost instantly on some occasions.
If it says "Delivered" next to it then it has arrived at the other end.
