Upgrade from iPhoto to Photos Emptied my Albums

In iPhoto, I had all of my photos organized in Albums. When Apple migrated my photos from iPhoto to Photos, it emptied out all of my albums. Is there a way for me to get my album content back without having to manually go through all 15,000 photos?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

How did you migrate your iPhoto library to Photos?

You albums should be accessible from the sidebar. If the sidebar is not open use the key combination of Option+Command+S to open it.

That's where the Albums I made in iPhoto are! But when you change from Maverick to El Capitan Photos opens up without the sidebar NOT showing. So Old Toad you were right -- go to photos then view then click Show Sidebar and there they are just as I made them!!!! Eureka!!! Thank you Old Toad!!! You saved me from utter frustration with 70,000 pictures organized in many albums!!!
