Q: Cannot get AST to run on UUT.

I am running a Diagnostic gateway using a Mac Mini running OSX 10.11.13 and running Server 5.0.15. Everything starts good, and I can see the AST using the option key to boot, but when I select the AST, instead of booting to it, it goes to the normal login screen on the UUT.

Here are some log entries from where the UUT, in this case a MacBook Air, connects to the AST, but it looks like it is not receiving BSDP ACK[LIST].

This worked fine when running it under Mountain Lion, but when I upgraded to Mavericks, it stopped working. I have tried each OS and still cannot get it to work.  Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to email ast_support@apple.com twice, but even though I get the reply email back saying that someone would get back to me within 24hrs, I still have not heard from them.

    Hello,

Welcome to ****, friend! I also have this problem, and I only have slightly more context.

I have a Mac Mini running OS X 10.11.4 and Server 5.1 and AST 1.5.16v3. I sent a similar email to ast_support@apple.com, and their only suggestion was that it was a problem with my firewall. My mac mini is on its own subnet and is whitelisted.

The only other thing I would suggest is put your mac mini directly on your router, and then test the connection.
