My ipad says it is not set up - but was working fine yesterday - any ideas?

My ipad says it is not set up - but was working fine yesterday. I'm not sure what I have done wrong - any ideas?

Maybe you haven't done anything wrong. It could be one of those unexplained glitches. I assume that you are getting the message that you need to activate the iPad. Try a forced restart and see if that corrects things. If it doesn't, set it up again and restore your backup.


To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
