I thought iTunes Match was included with my subscription to Apple Music - why was I charged another $25 for it?

I Was just billed $24.99 for an annual subscription to iTunes Match.. Wasn't that subscription included in my subscrition to Apple Music at $10.00 per month?

No. iTunes Match and Apple Music are 2 different services.

Apple Music includes a similar service to iTunes Match but is not iTunes Match.

Apple Music will on its own, match and upload your music to Apple servers and make it available online to all devices that support it. But its completely independent of iTunes Match.

If you subscribed to iTunes Match you will be charged for it, independently to Apple Music.
