updated to IOS 9.3 and activation server is not responding

Hi ,

i just updated to IOS 9.3 on both my iPhone and iPad.

Everything went fine on my iPhone, but the iPad cannot connect to the activation server.

Both are on the same apple ID.

Does someone have the same experience?

So I tried another workaround. Put the iPad into the DFU-Mode and connected to a blank iTunes on an oder Test-Computer. iTunes ask, if I want to recover or update the iPad. I tried to update, so iTunes loaded 1,3 GB iOS 9.3 and reinstalled it on the iPad.

So after reboot the iPad iTunes could not connect because the Secure-PIN. I unlocked the iPad and iTunes could not verify the device as before. Also as before, the iPad could not activate OTA because the Server is temporarily not available...

I was at breaking point over a hour ago when I tried downloading an update via itunes that for some people works. After waiting over an hour for it to download it still didnt work! now words cant describe how ****** off I am. I will never ever update my ipad every again - assuming I can ever get it to work! this is what I tried to do, it may help someone else:

DFU mode to Restore

DFU mode is signified by having a completely black screen on the device.

Follow the seteps below:

  1. Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes
  2. Turn the device OFF (hold down the power button at the top of the device)
  3. Continue to hold down the HOME button until a message appears in iTunes telling you 'an iPad is in recovery mode has been detected'
  4. Then follow simple instructions on iTunes on your computer.

Once it's recovered, you will notice that it's installed the ios 9.2.1 instead of ios 9.3

Connect the iPad with the USB cable to your computer.

If not automatically, open iTunes on the computer.

When prompted for a password, which you do not, remove the USB plug from the iPad (not the computer).

Turn the iPad off (sleep button pressed for a few seconds until the red slider appears, and then turn off the iPad).

Connect the iPad again with the USB cable still inserted in the computer while holding down the Home button. Let the home button until release when you see the message "Connect to iTunes" or "Connect to iTunes".

iTunes detects that an iPad is connected in recovery mode (English: recovery mode). Click "OK" and select "Restore" or "Restore" to restore the iPad to factory settings.
