Q: updated to IOS 9.3 and activation server is not responding


Hi ,

 

i just updated to IOS 9.3 on both my iPhone and iPad.

Everything went fine on my iPhone, but the iPad cannot connect to the activation server.

Both are on the same apple ID.

Does someone have the same experience?

The problem is fixed.

I just installed iTunes and let it connect to the faulty iPad.

iTunes recognized the iPad and asked me for the same apple ID.

And surprise, surprise, i could finish the activation on the iPad.

 

This problem seemed to be present in the beta versions.

That's we're i found the solution.

    Thank you very much Greune Guy, Thank you for your help and instructions. I did , however, learn that Apple is still going to release another fix for earlier Ipads so for now I will wait and see what happens. If that one should fail me too I will take the Ipad to the Apple store and see what they can do. You have been very generous during this difficulty with Apple and ipad and I thank you for all your help and encouragement. I will get a working Ipad back again

    YES!!!!  Although my iPad 2 16 GB 3g didn't follow exactly the same sequence as yours did, it is at last now working OK with the 9.3.1 upgrade.   Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread.

    About a month ago I tried to upgrade to iOS 9.3 and my iPad 2 was locked and had to read several messages in this forum to revert it to 9.2. I spent a full day to get it. Now I ask, Apple has solved this problem? Can I do this upgrade without fear?

    Although my iPad2 16GB 3G now works with iOS 9.3.1, the new OS has slowed it down a bit and, with the older iPads, I'm not sure that the upgrade has any real benefit, so be cautious.  Sorry I can't give you a confident answer, Sergio
