Mar 21, 2016 1:14 PM in response to Hanterdroby KiltedTim,It's possible the activation servers are simply overloaded by everyone and their brother attempting to activate at the same time. If that's the case, keep trying.
If your device was jailbroken, that can also cause activation to fail.

Well, you and another billion people all trying to use the same servers at the same time... The savvy user waits a day or two for all the others to sort out the bugs .

sounds to me that your phone locked back up to the original phone carrier than the one your currently when you updated your phone.
was your phone ever with another phone carrier, if so how was it unlock for you to use it with your current phone carrier?
