Q: Can´t activate Ipad 2 after update

I have the same problem with my iPad Air 1.

Apple's support is useless as usual!!

if you have a problem with activation, log on to your computer and turn on your ipad or iphone. I did the test and it works. Have a good day ....

I have the same problem  

iPad2 refused to log me in,
so i tried with iTunes which refused to log me in because I needed two steps authentication with ipad,
then I had to:

1) change my password because I couldn't use 2steps authentication

2) receive a code on my mobile

3) turn off two steps authentication

4) set up Q&A recovery

5) log off from itunes

6) log in to iTunes

7) Turn off the ipad

8) Turn on the ipad

9) insert the unlock code on the ipad

10) plug in to the pc

then it worked as you stated (iTunes asked me to log on again...)

Quite tricky...

Try reinstalling the iOS software and have your iPad reboot.  It should work.

HOW?

How I can reinstall iOS software or reboot iPad, if the iPad ask me always the same quetiones?

Hopefully you have an iCloud account.  If so, go to www.icloud.com and under Find My iPhone, select your iPad and unlock it from there.

If no iCloud account, you can put your iPad in the Device Firmware Update (DFU) mode and then your iTunes application should see it.  Then you can reinstall the iOS update.

Hope one of these solutions will work for you.

It's an iPad Air 1 which is listed as unavailable (offline) via iCloud's Find My iPhone. Only iPhone (not updated to iOS 9.3) is visible.
