no Contacts icon on 9.3
The Contacts icon does not appear on my iPod touch screen. How can I get it back? As a new user am I missing something?
Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), Also Mavericks

I just updated my iPod and it's still there.
have you looked on other pages or in folders?
try to give your iPod a restart. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it restart and see if you see your icon
Yes I looked on all pages and did a restart. No Contacts icon.
Did you try searching for it in Spotlight? It would indicate the folder name if it was in a folder. If not, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. That should bring it back.

Is it in your Utilities folder?
I found Contacts in the Extras folder. How can I drag it out of there?
Just get the Extras folder on a screen when there is an empty space and tap the folder to show the aps I the folder and then touch and hold the Contacts app and drag it out of the folder.
Great! So how do you move it to a different page? I tried dragging it but that did not work.
Easiest way is to move an app icon from the bottom Dock row to an empty space on a screen and then move the Contacts app to the Dock row and then to what screen yo want. The move the original app back to the Dock row
