Mar 25, 2016 4:00 PM in response to Suzieque_1by real special k,I'VE GOT THE ANSWER ... I SPOKE WITH AN APPLE REP A MOMENT AGO AND GOT THE ANSWER!!!!
Search for device manager, and open
1. plug in any apple device
2. find the apple drivers wherever it is (Portable Devices, USB)
3. left click, update drivers
4. browse: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
5. Next
Unfortunately, you have to do this for all your individual devices. But it totally works.
iTunes starts to recognize your devices again

Mar 28, 2016 8:33 AM in response to Suzieque_1by sowmyanavada,I found this and it worked for me. Make sure to have your device plugged in!
Right-click the Apple Mobile Device entry in Device Manager and choose Update Driver Software.
- Select "Browse my computer for driver software."
- Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
- Click the Have Disk button. Note: If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and then click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.
- Click the Browse button and navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
- Double-click the "usbaapl" file. (This file will be called "usbaapl64" if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see "usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. instead).
- Click Open in the Have Disk window. Then, click Next and then Click Finish. Windows will install the driver.

Mar 28, 2016 1:06 PM in response to turingtest2by Johny V,I had the same problem as the OP and tried all suggestions to no avail.
What did finally work was uninstalling the new iTunes 12.3.3.17 and then downgrade back to 12.2.2.
Uninstalling the new iTunes does not delete your old saved data.
Here is the link to a video which shows you the step by step on what files to uninstall, it was very simple (this coming from someone who is not computer savvy): You will need a newer "old" version of iTunes (at least 12.2.2) than the video links to in its description if you're using newer iphones/ipads, so I included a link to iTunes 12.2.2 below. Hope this helps because it caused me no end of frustration this morning and had to figure it out on my own. Apple should be doing more to ever allow this to happen, as it makes me extremely leery to update ever again after going through all this BS.

Mar 28, 2016 1:03 PM in response to Johny Vby turingtest2,These are direct links to recent iTunes installers on Apple's own servers which might be a safer bet. 12.3.3 may have updated the library database in which case the techniques in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash can be used to roll back to the previous database.
