OS 10.11.4 broke all of my applications...

I just updated my Macbook Pro and my Mac Pro to OS 10.11.4. On my laptop, everything seems to be fine. On my Mac Pro, none of my applications

will open. I get an error that says "You can't open the application "Disk Utility" because it may be damaged or incomplete." I get the same message on all the applications I try to open. I am beyond p i s s e d. There is absolutely NO excuse for this kind of thing to be happening in this day and age. If anyone know WHY this d a m n update did this and what I can do to correct it, your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 24 GB, Radeon 4870, Blu-ray

Similar problem here. I updated to 10.11.4 and Safari is completely hosed, uses 99% of cpu, so I closed it and went to Chrome. Something is badly wrong with this update.

I also have that problem with my MacBook Pro (Early 2011).

My system language is German, but after the update, parts of it - e.g. the login screen - are in English, also some dialogues are partly in English (e.g. the buttons in the shutdown dialogue).

After the update, all my applications besides the Finder are unusable. App Store applications, system applications, external applications - nothing can be started anymore, so I can't even post logs or tell you what processes send my fans spinning. Opening my /Applications folder only shows the Utilities Folder and the Mail.app (with the "broken" app symbol), I can't see any files in the Utilities folder.

In Safe Mode, the apps are all broken and the system is very sluggish, but at least the fans don't spin. Since Activity Monitor and Console don't work there, either, I can't tell you what processes might be the problem.

I tried restarting, Safe Boot, repairing the Disks with Disk Utility and finally restoring to 10.11.3 to download the 10.11.4 Combo Updater. Sadly, the problems after using the Combo Updater are the same.
