Smarthost - Mac Mail

I have a business account through Cox. I'd like to be able to send and receive email from home on my Mac. I can receive email but I am not able to send.

The email settings from work indicate that the outgoing setting should be smarthost.coxmail.com, it also says port 25, and "use encryption connection" - none. I mirrored these settings on my mac however it did not allow me to send mail. I then changed the settings to "password" and entered in the same user name and password i use for the incoming server. I also checked the box "SSL".

What am i doing wrong? Why won't it work?
