car bluetooth problems with iOS 9.3 update. call voice breaking and impossible to hear the caller.
iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3
Having what sounds like the same problem this AM. iPhone 6, iOS 9.3, 2012 Honda Odyssey stock sound system. Worked fine through iOS 9.1. With iOS 9.2 bluetooth would occasionally disconnect, then reconnect about 5-10 seconds later. Reset all bluetooth settings on both phone and car with no improvement.
Installed iOS 9.3 last night. Phone connects, but audio is unintelligible. Sound cuts out about every quarter of a second, then cuts in for about a quarter of a second, ad nauseum. Reset phone with no effect. Will try further things later today, but the phone is unusable with bluetooth as is.
Thanks Speztex! Your tip worked for me!
I Have a 2013 civic the Bluetooth would connect but music wouldn't play I turned on the phone ringer and turned the volune all the way up issue resolved for me.
Sorry to inform you.....Reseting your Network setting dose not reset your BT settings or info, just your WIFI settings.
(reset the phone to factory default will not solve the problem, lots of people tried.)
The problem will come back, have a nice day.
Apple have the worst Bluethooth support ever!
TThe above solution works well,
but all I did was delete the iphone connection in my car, and did a master reset of the Bluetooth in the car only.
reconnected the phone, that worked too.
i Have a 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid
Yes some BT problems get solved by reconnecting the iphone with the car and some dose not.
But the topic claims that reset network will reset the BT but it dose not do that, and kinda funny kinda funny even the support believe it dose but it dose not.
No BT settings gets removed after using Reset Network.
Awesome feedback, I do not like to reset my network setting as I have wifi connection to our secure hotspot at work.. I really do not want to raise another HD ticket to our IT
I will try to re-pair the Headset to see if it fixes the issue.
I just upgraded to an iPhone 6S from an iPhone 6. It paired it with my audio system in my 2014 MB 300E and it would make the call, but I heard nothing. I tried your fix and now it works perfectly. Thanks so much.
Great
Since upgrading to 9.3, my Bluetooth connection with my Ford Fiesta's stereo system is unusable. Really glitchy audio with clicks all over the place. 9.2 was fine :-(
Worked like a charm. Saved me a long drive to the dealer, or, even worse, a long call to Verizon. Thank you.
I've just purchased a new Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I paired my phone to the uConnect and had the voice breaking up problem. I found your fix and did exactly as you directed and 'Presto' it worked like a charm. Thank you so much for helping me solve this pesky problem, it has saved to a trip to the dealership.
Rebooting the iOS device fixed it for me. iOS 9.3 and iPhone 6s.
Thanks so much...it worked for me as well! And a much faster response than an app't with the 'Geniuses' 4 days from now!
happened to me since I bought iphone 7 after replacing iphone 6. ios 10.0.1. so tried the above solution you mentioned. So far it is working but I want to wait for couple of days to see if stays connected. Thanks for the contribution. I know people just want to post problems but glad somebody post solution which worked for them like you. I do the same.
I have some distortion at bluetooth calls at my Honda Civic Touring 2017
