When I hit the upgrade button on my iPad mini it said Night Shift was one of the things 9.3 included. That's fause advertising and now my iPad runs slower. Thanks Apple! Well done:(

The 5th generation iPod Touch does not have Night Shift. -AJ
If you have a mini before "mini 2," it is not supported on that device.

Apple clearly lists what iDevice models get what features, including Night Shift mode.
Older iPad models, including the 1st gen iPad Mini (which is functionally equivalent to the iPad 2) do not get the Night Shift mode functionality.
There was no false advertising.
As with every iOS release and updates, only certain iDevices get only certain select features. Newer model iDevices get most to all new iOS features, while older model iDevices get fewer and fewer features the older the iDevice is.
