Mar 24, 2016 12:58 PM in response to malum363by Kriskool,I Partly solved the problem by upgrading my iMac to OS X.11.4. Now I can see all my photos but not the folders with my photo albums in them. Hope that apple does something about this

Mar 24, 2016 1:10 PM in response to quickdraw08by malum363,Thanks for replying. You know, I tried that and was hopeful that it would work, but it didn't.

Mar 24, 2016 1:13 PM in response to malum363by quickdraw08,You should probably try a full restore if that's the case. It's not 9.2, or else everyone would experience it. Have you tried turning photos off in settings and then back on?

Mar 24, 2016 1:17 PM in response to quickdraw08by malum363,Yep tried that too. Next thing to try is 'reset and upgrade' option, off of the Reset menu. Rather a pain, but what can you do.

Mar 24, 2016 1:30 PM in response to malum363by quickdraw08,Yep, it's a major pain! I've had to do it before, took me over 2 hours to get it setup, download apps, and authorize with networks.

Mar 24, 2016 2:54 PM in response to quickdraw08by malum363,All of a sudden, things are working. I was clicking around, then it just started working. I wish I knew what I did that triggered this. At one point I happened to move the icon, but I can't imagine that had anything to do with it, but who knows.
Seems that some things gave changed with this release. Photos now looks a lot like the iPhone version.
For me now, double-clicking the 'tv' icon on the remote still brings up the task list. But I can no longer "close" apps by sliding them upwards. Does that still work for you?
wow Apple has bugs. More like Microsoft every day. I just tried posting this reply and get an error message "user Grayn820 is banned from pposting content". Holy cow. That is not my username. And the screen says I am still logged in. I will copy my text to the clipboard and try againl.
YEah that worked. Evidently my session must have timed out, and the app server got me confused with someone else.

Mar 24, 2016 2:59 PM in response to malum363by quickdraw08,Yes, I can still swipe up to close apps. As long as I don't swipe too fast, I have to do it slowly or it doesn't work, but it did that on 9.1 as well. My problem with photos is that the recent activity bar is gone inside the app. I did a little troubleshooting and found out that the bar does appear if I am subscribed to more than one shared album, but if I delete one and only have one shared album, no recent activity bar. I only use the photos app for shared albums, not my entire photos collection. My shared album is also sorted oldest to newest, which is driving me crazy. Who wants to scroll through all those pictures to see the newest?

Mar 24, 2016 3:08 PM in response to quickdraw08by malum363,LOL! You're right -- if i slide *slowly* up, then it works. I never had to do that before. Thanks!
I See what you mean about the sorting of the shared albums. Have to scroll to the bottom to see the latest -- very weird.

Mar 29, 2016 8:52 AM in response to malum363by leewilko,Hi,
I tried all of the above:
Restarted the Apple TV
Turned on icloud Photos
Turned it off.
Still had the error with network.
I completely signed out with my apple ID under accounts/icloud
One I did this I then signed back in and it started working.
Just enabling and restarting the option was not enough I had to sign out completely and then sign in and then enable iCloud Photo Library and it worked.
I also had iCloud Photo Sharing turned off.
Let me know if this helps fix your issues?

Mar 31, 2016 6:04 PM in response to leewilkoby malum363,HI,
The issue went away for me, by itself, or if it was something I did, I'm not sure what it was. Your suggestion is a good one. I was all set to full reset, but it makes more sense to try just logging out of iCloud and logging back in.
Thanks

Mar 31, 2016 10:50 PM in response to malum363by Kriskool,HI everyone again, I must say that the issue went away for me too but I can't really tell why... Except one thing : in the album section, I can see the "Apple default albums" such as landscapes, slow mo, etc.... but I can't see the FOLDERS WITH ALBUMS INSIDE which I created on my Mac. So this section still looks very empty. The weird thing is that all my photos seem to appear in the photos section.
So are you guys able to see your ALBUM FOLDERS in the album section ?
