Apr 18, 2016 1:10 PM in response to Kriskoolby malum363,All I have are photo albums and shared photo albums and have no trouble seeing their contents. I'm not actually sure what you mean by album folders. I don't have a Mac, maybe it's a Mac thing?

Apr 18, 2016 9:39 PM in response to malum363by Kriskool,Yes it is a "Mac Thing"... in the Photos app on Mac (or on an iOS device) you can create photo albums. When you get to have too many albums, you can create "folders" in which you can put your photo albums for example sorted by names, themes, dates.... (These Folders look like App folders on the iphone) you just drag and drop your selected albums in the folders. I think you call them "nested albums". I am not sure because I am French.
A lot of people complain about not seeing their nested albums on their Apple TV just because they are not synced by Apple. Just have a look at this discussion : iCloud Photo library nested albums.
hope evreyone gets the point now and that Apple will read this discussion.

Apr 19, 2016 9:40 AM in response to malum363by barryfvd,I had this same problem/error message and took all the suggested corrective actions posted in this string without success. Finally, I signed out of iCloud photo sharing and photo library again and then I also turned off Photo Stream (which was associated with my iTunes Library email, which is different from my iCloud email) before restarting. After Apple TV came back up, I signed back in to iCloud and I turned on iCloud photo sharing and photo library. However, I found that turning on photo stream was no longer an option. At this point I was able to open the Photos app and my iCloud photos were available. I can only assume that Apple TV cannot handle the confusion of having a different Apple ID for iTunes and iCloud with the Photo app. This may explain why some who have posted that they “suddenly found their problem solved” without knowing what they did. It would be easy to click the photo stream off as well as signing out of iCloud photo library and and photo sharing before a restart.
