2 week view in iCal 8.0 - ??? & Suggestions

Is there a way to have a two week view in iCal 8.0 with OS X Yosemite or OS X El Capitan?

As someone planning work & personal events. having a 2 week view would be extremely helpful. Our lives move so fast and are filled with numerous activities that we have to keep up with. The month view cannot show enough detail, and a one week view, not a long enough time span. I feel that a two week time span stacked on top on one another would be great.

Movement in Calendar could also be improved. The movement available in iOS, scrolling up and down by month and side to side by week, would be much more helpful in OS X than having to use a clicker button at the top of the window.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), iCal 8.0

You can switch the default view to 14 days by quitting calendar and opening a terminal. Then use the following command:

defaults write com.apple.iCal n\ days\ of\ week 14

As Ferd II said, two finger swiping on the trackpad should scroll. It can be iffy on my Macbook but usually works.
