Did you enter your CURRENT Apple ID & password first at the link you cited above?

Mar 22, 2016 1:23 PM in response to javaligaby RHPT,Yes, I forgot to mention that I followed the directions in that article. Step 3 is where it stops working for me. I don't have the "Change Email Address" option.
In the Account section, click Edit. Under your Apple ID, click Change Email Address.
