II've been on the phone the couple of weeks now, 4 times.

had several emails back and forth, and had many discussions on Twitter.

Although all were courteous, and friendly, ultimately they have not been able to do anything about it his.

in fact, during the first call, they had me make a playlist we called TEST.

It was a mix of purchased, ripped, downloaded and Apple Music tracks.

it lasted 2 weeks, then randomly dropped 1 track.

couple of days later, then whol thing just vanished overnight.

I'm a rather unhappy Apple fan boy right now.

its a good idea, and maybe the next update will fix this, but until then I'm done with it

TThat doesn't solve my problem since my iCloud Music Library doesn't reside in "Settings > Music > iCloud Music Library" .

    I'm using IOS 9.3.1.

PLaylists get dropped randomly. I've rebuilt them over and over many times.

    IPits a very frustrating problem.

I have been an Apple guy for year.  This is not the first time this has happened.  Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me (but I let it happen).  Fool me six times...

I'm finally fed up.  I'm cancelling my iTune Music account and going with the much more stable Spotify.  I'm so sick of every update of iTunes and iOS giving the user less and less control of our devices.

Yes. Canceling my iTunes Music account due to missing songs and playlists. I will check out Spotify.

I have lost multiple complete albums.  I can't believe that I have to figure out which albums are MISSING and download them again.  Which, by the way, when I searched for the albums in iTunes thinking that I'd be able to download them from the cloud since I have, in fact, paid for all of them via iTunes, it didn't show the albums as being purchased.  But it would have gladly allowed me to PAY again for them.  I've NEVER had trouble with music disappearing just out of the blue --no sync -- no update (to my knowledge), etc.  Just one day there--the next day gone.  BUT I will say that most of what I have determined to be missing are albums that I have played semi-recently...within the last month or two.  Hmmmm....PLEASE HELP!!!   I seriously do not have to buy all these albums again, do I???!!!

Simply amazing. Six months of complaints In an Apple Inc. forum. Answer? Zero. Nada. I've just lost my playlists. Is this how much Apple cares for their customers nowadays, ironically, in that very fundamental feature that allowed it to be what it is today with the iPods some years ago? Sorry folks: you are as good as your last job.

Apple delete your music If you use Apple Music with iCoud.  Customer service and the supervisors do not know what to tell you they always say they have to talk to engineer but they already know the answer it can't be fixed apples the stealing your music and deleting it that should be all over the news what Apple is doing near bunch of criminals.

For some reason my iCloud Music Library was toggled off. I just upgraded to iOS 9.3.5 a couple of days ago. I toggled it back on and all is good. Nothing lost.

Hey Apple - can you hear us????

    I have a 6s (updated to 9.3.5 a few days ago).

I just encountered this same issue today.  I have two large playlists that have nearly disappeared. Any song that I had previously purchased from itunes or ripped from a CD is still in the playlists that I had created.

Any song that I had added to a playlist while listening to it through the apple music subscription app has been deleted. This is very disappointing.

I have tried the suggestions listed in this string several times:

    • settings>music>icloud music library - switch off, switch on and select replace = this has not worked.
    • settings>music>icloud music library - switch off, switch on and select merge = this has not worked.
    • restarting the phone = this has not worked

My music subscription is up to date and was never cancelled.  I can see that some (not sure if all) of the songs that I had added to playlists are still showing up in the 'my music' library.  I also see that one other playlist that I had created is still complete (for now at least).  Seems very strange.  As a paying customer am not happy with this issue at all.

    Apple - please comment.
