Out the box today 2016 5k iMac top spec. the wireless mouse and and keyboard were working fine, fully charged, then after 4hours downloading updates, the mouse stopped working then keyboard, now it says Bluetooth is not available in preferences, I Deleted Plist for BT and restarted, Pram reset, SRM reset, all failed anything else to try?

You can return a new Mac within 14 days of purchase.
Return it and get another one.

thanks for the replies and yes i could call the help desk, yes i could send it back, but what a waste of time on day one. I was hoping for a simple fix or any fix, since i spent all day downloading updates and a clean install for all my FCPX plugins. I'm still wishing its not hardware related anyone out there with practical help?
All the replies you have received are practical, remember we are not there so we cannot replicate your problem. I'd suggest doing a SMC Reset (may take 2-3 attempts) and a PRAM reset. There is no such thing as a SRM reset so I'm not sure what you are referring to.

Have you ran any "cleaning" or "optimizing" apps on the new Mac?
I lost bt on my new retina iMac immediately after updating to 10.11.4
I delete .plists, reset pram and smc, run combo update, nothing helps.
