You will get an error message somewhere.. either in the summary page of the TC in airport utility.. or on a computer that cannot access internet or cannot access another computer or other network resources where it used to work.

I have wireless disabled on my computer right now so I can't check but I recall a utility that may have been buried in the system software which called up a page reporting wif-fi signals and strength.  While there are in theory 11 wi-fi channels in the USA, in reality only 3 do not interfere with others, 1, 6, and 11. Check what you are using then see if there are others on the same or nearby channels with similar signal strength.
