Q: Can't access my iPod Touch after 9.3 update
I am not able to access my iPod Touch 5 in ANY way whatsoever. I chose to update to the latest 9.3 software last night and this is what's happening: I turn my iPod on and it says "Activate iPod / This iPod is linked to an Apple ID. Enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this iPod." I go to enter my Apple ID and password, but it says, "Incorrect Apple ID [email address] cannot be used to unlock this iPod."
I've tried restoring my iPod, but it always comes back to this screen. It makes no sense, because I can log into my Apple account and my iTunes account with this Apple ID, but when I try to activate my iPod, it says my information is incorrect!
I have restarted my modem, I have used different browsers, I have tried restoring on different computers, I have checked and double-checked to make sure all of my info is correct (and it is!), and I'm just stuck now. I've tried contacting Apple support, but their 'chat' doesn't work on any browser, a blank window just pops up on my screen and does nothing. And I've tried having Apple support call me, but no one ever calls, then a few minutes later, I get an email saying they tried calling but couldn't reach me (at either of my numbers). I am beyond frustrated with this and confused overall. Is there anything anyone can suggest?
