Q: not got passwprd to activate ipad

I have not got the password to activate my IPad, it has an email that was cancelled and now I cant get the iPad working because it needs one after the update, my daughter didn't know to deactivate ICloud  (neither did I) first.  I'm just hitting a brick wall with my head   thx Apple

    Try the same username and password as the one you logged into these boards with. If that doesn’t work, use Apple’s iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team, or if you’re the iPad’s original owner, take it and its purchase receipt to a physical Apple Store or otherwise contact Apple.

    It doesn't matter if an email was canceled, it's still your user ID. And you would have needed the password to deactivate iCloud, anyway. So just use the password that you created for the deactivated email address; it doesn't have to have been the same as the your email password (if fact, it shouldn't be).
