Q: Corrupt video in iCloud

HI, there is a video that was uploaded to my cloud and when I try to play it back the video is corrupt.  No matter which device I try to play it back on (iPad Pro, iPhone, or Macbook) it keeps freezing up in the same place.  The audio continues to work, but the video keeps looping over and over again.  How can I get this video back?

    Hello DomGucci,

I understand that you are having an issue with playing back a video that is in iCloud. Let's see if we can get the original back to see if that changes things.

What you will need to do is go to iCloud.com and download the video from there. To do this, follow the steps outlined below. Once it is downloaded, then just play back the video within QuickTime or another video app of your choosing to see if the video plays proerply for you.

Access your photos and videos on iCloud.com
    http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc50669030d

Download photos or videos to your computer

    1. Go to Photos on iCloud.com.

    2. Do one of the following:

      •

Click Moments to see your photos or videos grouped by time and location.

      •
      •

Click Albums, then click an album to view its contents.

    3. Click Select Photos.

    4. Select the photos or videos you want to download, then click Download.

The largest available version of each photo and video you select is saved in your Downloads folder on your computer (or other folder specified in your web browser’s preference or options settings).

    Take care
