firefox problem

This has been happening for a while on a few sites. The problem does not happen with Safari but I am a long time FF user and like i.

I have 10.11..4 but this happened on earlier 10.11 versions. I have FF 45.0.1.

When I go to certain pages, the page might start loading and then a 404 error comes up. The page is there - I can get to it with FF.

Sometimes, as in the example I will post below, the page will try to load a few times and then it will go to a Yahoo search page. Now, I have google set as my preferred search engine in FF and I even removed yahoo from the list.

Here is an example - I enter gatecityseries.com (which loads fine in Safari.

After a few tries to load it loads http://www.gatecityseries.com/wp-content/themes/bizstudio-lite/js/jquery.mobilem enu.js?ver=1.0 which gives a 404 error.

Then the screen goes to https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorh...nt/themes/bizstudio-lite/js/jquer&type=769 480
