how to secure a folder

I run a dj service and i have multiple djs working for me, i currently just bought a iMac and i run Serato DJ, my question is how do i secure my music library so my djs or anyone else can't copy the MP3 files but still be able to use them in Serato DJ?

I use Mavericks and don't know what changes they have made since then. If you put files in a folder called "Public" in your Home directory and enable file sharing others can read files in this folder but not write to them. You could relocate your iTunes media to this location.

iTunes 12 for Mac: Change where your iTunes files are stored - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19507 - Unfortunately this is misnamed. It should say "Change where your media files but not where your library files are stored" - more information at: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5036221?answerId=22026652022#22026652022

You would need to change your media folder location in iTunes > Preferences > Advanced to this public folder, then consolidate/organize your media to that folder.
