I just got this phone yesterday off ebay. When i first put it in service the network was working great. Then around 5 it just stopped out of the blue. Its been searching for cellular data for hours now. Ive restored the phone, restored network settings , i turn airplane mode on and off and finally o removed the SIM card.......and nothing.

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad phone from ebay. You might want to see if you can get your money back through them if you just got the phone and it isn't working as described in their description. Contact the seller and see what can be resolved.
As previously stated, your carrier might have blocked your phone, so contacting them is a good idea.
I would also check the IMEI against Apple's IMEI checker tool. https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/
