Some of my songs wont convert to a lower bitrate?

Hi,

im using the 'convert higher bitrate songs to" option using convert to 128kbps for space saving option

about 10 of my songs wont sync to my iphone, i get the following error

"some of the items in the itunes library could not be copied..because the file could not be converted"

how can i fix this? or how can i get the songs to transfer to the phone without compromising all the other songs/unchecking the convert option

iphone 4s

ios 9.2 current

itunes current/up to date..

Hi wenchwendy,

I understand that you've got a few songs that can't be converted by iTunes. If the affected songs were purchased from the iTunes Store, they may have DRM which prevents them from being converted. The steps outlined in the article detail how to redownload those songs so that they can be converted.
