Q: How to setup my Apple Watch for 2 Step Authentication?

From this article it's still unclear how to enable my Apple Watch zu receive 2 step authentication codes. There are no iCloud Settings on my Apple Watch, so how can I enable 2 step authentication on my Apple Watch?

See this -- Set up your devices to use two-factor authentication - Apple Support. Note, you have to sign in, go to iCloud settings on every device you want 2FA enabled.
On the Apple Watch, the only want to sign out is by signing out completely out of iCloud on the connected iPhone, and only then can you can sign in again via the Watch app on your iPhone.

Your link to 9to5mac was exactly what i did. So I tried your instruction now:
I signed out iCloud on my iPhone completely and signed in again, but it didn't helped. Still no codes on my Apple Watch.
